Oscarcating '08: Screwed By Oscar

One of the things that I’ve been discussing over back-alley channels is doing a series on actors, directors, writers, production designers, and other talented people who were “screwed by Oscar,” either repeatedly or for a single performance. This feature will be in collaboration with Dan over at The Danifesto and possibly some other places.

My first entry will be up later this week, but Dan’s got a piece on Peter O’Toole — the living actor who’s possibly been screwed the most by Oscar  (although he uses the far more tasteful “Oscar Snub”) — and he sums up my feelings on the matter of Mr. O’Toole far better than I would have. (Although one must wonder, where’s Peter O’Toole’s part in Harry Potter?)

“I’m not an actor, I’m a movie star!”
